TV show on cactus ferruginous pygmy-owls aired in Japan

NHK crew in Cucurpe Summer 2013 I worked with A. Flesch to set up almost all logistics for NHK Japan to shoot a documentary on the Sonoran Desert and cactus ferruginous pygmy-owl. We chose a location near Cucurpe, Sonora and located numerous cavity nesting birds in the area, set up accommodations, and guided and assisted during filming.

The program called "Nature Wonderland" is the most popular show in Japan. The episode is not available online, here is a link to the program overview.
